lightBusiness card producer Moo Cards has undertaken a study that confirms Britain to be ‘bristling’ with new ideas.

Incredibly, they found that more than 80% of Brits had an idea for a new business over the past 12 months, with the age group 25-34 likely to be most entrepreneurial overall.

The South West doesn’t appear in the top 3 business hotspots but figures are relatively high nationwide.

Arts and crafts businesses are most popular (16%) with cooking and baking, writing and design close behind. 7% were developing new technologies such as apps and gaming.

It is men who are most likely to have the new ideas in the technical field, but in the arts and crafts, women are nearly three times as likely than men to generate ‘eureka moments’.
